Wal-Mart -- Kingston, NY

It's a big one this time.  I won't be getting into Wal-Mart philosophy, the pros and cons, the issues at play in the grand scheme and the small scene regarding the store giant.  What I'm going to do is show you...the commode.

What I expected was what I remembered the bathroom being from a fair time ago.  What I got was a surprise.

Do you notice what I do?  That the tile, while liberally sprinkled with paper, looks relatively clean?  And that the stalls are now made of graffiti-resistant steel of some sort?

A brand new-looking sink area, also relatively clean.

I see hooks, and a new hand dryer, and still clean tile.  Again, I see paper on the floor.  People of Wal-mart, can't we keep our own damned paper off the floor?  What I see is a store striving to give more to its customers, and its customers just not caring.  Or am I reading too much into this?

However I read it, it's not the unpleasant stinky mess I was fully expecting when I went in.  Stay tuned as I am going to be using the other restroom...the one in back.  Next time on the Commode.

    1. Thank you, Elizabeth! It's all for The Commode. One must be willing to do things one wouldn't otherwise do! :)
