King's Pizza Restaurant -- Kingston, NY

Always a contender in the pizza tasting at the Kingston Library Summer Teen Program, King's Pizza goes way back.  Their pizza is pretty tasty, but watch out if you order dessert!  Make sure you share, because their portions are not just big.  They are HUGE!  Friendly waitstaff, very accomodating, we had a good experience.
And the commode?

Personalized, cheerful, but blazing hot!  I don't know if it was unusual, but I could barely make it through what I had to do without passing out from the heat.  I'm guessing that the restrooms are first on the line, but maybe they need to prop the doors open!

Here's the hall.  I don't know why it appealed to me, but there it is.  I think it has something to do with the splash of color compared to the white tile in the actual restroom.  If it wasn't so blasted hot, we'd be talking a 1-plunger!

Another UPDATE: Keegan Ales

Last time we visited Keegan Ales on A La Commode, they still had band posters on the walls.  Now, they've painted the walls, and, well, I'll let the picture from Trivia Break speak for itself:

That's What She Said! Certainly a fun loving crew. For reasons unknown, they thought posing in the Keegan Ales men's room would be a good idea. You decide, lol.

This IS A La Commode, after all.  Of COURSE it was a good idea! Now we have no reading material, we have to bring company. Well, times have changed, but some things haven't.  I still haven't figured out why they need a 'no aliens' sticker on the heating duct in the ladies'.

TOE (Town of Esopus) Library UPDATE!

You've been here before.  The TOE Library upstairs bathroom.  In my original post, which you can see here, I mentioned that there was nowhere to hang my bag.

Well, it seems that my complaint was heard.  Kudos to the Town of Esopus Library for listening and acting on this problem.  I wasn't expecting it, and I have to say I may be drunk with power at this point.  On the other hand, it could be someone at the library noticed this independent of me, so don't worry, I'm not getting a swelled head here.

Not just a hook, but an entire coat rack!  Thank you, Town of Esopus Library!
