Mountain Top Arboretum

Mountain Top Arboretum – Tannersville, NY

Mountain Top Arboretum, which is free for the walking, has beautiful gardens, a large pond with frogs and fish aplenty, walking paths through the woods, and even fairy gardens. Something at every turn. So it's no surprise that their bathrooms would be woodsy, yet inviting. While there is no electricity, there is running water, and the facilities are clean, rustic, and charming.  No need to fear using this one, my friends.  Just note locations before you close the door; without electric, it gets a little dark in there.

Number, ahem, 1

Here we are at the beginning.  For some reason, restrooms are overlooked.  There are so many ways that they reflect the place where they are located, and honestly, haven't you wondered about the cleanliness of a kitchen when you've used a really dirty restroom at a restaurant?

What more can they tell us?  Usually, a place will try to reflect what they are in the style of their commodes.  If a place is upscale, the restroom is as well.  If a place is woodsy, bring your own paper and prepare for sparse accomodations.

In this blog, we'll see some unusual commodes, some rustic commodes, and some that are just too nice not to use.  Maybe you'll even want to go see some of them for yourself sometime.
